Comments from the voice cast

Shunichi Toki (Illusia):

I’m Shunichi Toki, and I’m voicing Illusia! Even if you’re unfamiliar with this work, you can probably guess the kind of story it is from the title. The deeper you delve into it, the more captivating it becomes. Illusia’s various forms of ‘growth,’ along with the mysterious and fascinating characters surrounding him, truly enrich the narrative. I’ll give my all to faithfully capture the original work’s charm. Thank you for your support!

Ami Koshimizu (Voice of God):

The story itself is highly appealing, but I’m personally looking forward to seeing how the protagonist’s transformation and the monsters will be portrayed in the anime. I’m also excited to see how the unique plants will be visualized. Our protagonist certainly has reincarnated into a tough situation, so I encourage him to keep getting stronger!

Miku Ito (as Milia):

As I read the original work, I was thrilled watching Irushia’s growth and the exciting battle scenes. I’m eagerly anticipating how these scenes will be animated. Milia, whom I portray, is brave, kind-hearted, and sincere in everything she does. I’ll portray her with honesty and passion. Please especially look forward to the interactions between Irushia and Milia!

Reincarnated as a Dragon’s Egg (Tensei Shitara Doragon no Tamago Datta: Saikyo Igai Mezasa Nee) is a Japanese light novel series written by Nekoko, featuring illustrations by Naji Yanagida. It started as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro platform in August 2015.

The series has since been adapted into a light novel format with illustrations by Naji Yanagida. Additionally, it has a manga adaptation by RIO, serialized into eight volumes as of January 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both in English, describing the story for the novel:
Our hero wakes up one day in a brand new world…but his new life doesn’t come with fighting skills or magic powers, or even arms and legs! He’s reborn as a helpless egg, stuck in an unfamiliar forest surrounded by terrifying, hungry beasts. But eggs hatch, hatchlings grow up, and humble beginnings can lead to something great. He’ll do his best to become the strongest dragon ever, and no measly shell will get in his way!
